In 2019, the couple welcomed their daughter, making him a devoted family man alongside his professional life.Before entering the entertainment industry, Sobti worked for nearly seven years as an operations manager at Jindal Telecom, which reflects his practical and disciplined background.Barun Sobti began his acting career in 2009 with Shraddha as Swayam Khurana. He then appeared in a memorable cameo as Dr. Raj in the highly popular medical drama Dill Mill Gayye, where his performance gained significant attention.

In 2010, he played Shravan Jaiswal in Baat Hamari Pakki Hai, which established him as a promising romantic lead.His life-changing breakthrough came in 2011 with the role of Arnav Singh Raizada in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon.
