Jacqueline Andere is a renowned Mexican actress with over 60 years of artistic experience. She began her career at the age of 17 in experimental theater with 𝘙𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘰 𝘺 𝘑𝘶𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘵𝘢. He made his film debut in 1959 with 𝘝𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘥𝘰 𝘥𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘢 and participated in emblematic films such as 𝘌𝘭 a𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘭 𝘦𝘹𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘥𝘰𝘳 (1962), by Luis Buñuel, and 𝘠𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘢 (1971), his greatest success. He also acted in films such as 𝘓𝘢𝘴 𝘱𝘶𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘴 𝘥𝘦𝘭 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘢í𝘴𝘰 and 𝘕𝘪𝘥𝘰 𝘥𝘦 𝘧𝘪𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘴 in 1971. That same year he stood out for his participation in 𝘓𝘢𝘴 𝘱𝘶𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘴 𝘥𝘦𝘭 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘢í𝘴𝘰, by Salomón Laiter, one of the films that revived the Ariel Award ceremony in 1972.
She has worked on numerous soap operas on television and in theater. She has won the Silver Goddess and received multiple nominations for her acting work. Her career marks the transition between the Golden Age of Mexican cinema and the New Mexican Cinema.
