Directing
James C. Hauke (b. 2004 in Muskegon, Michigan) is a Kalamazoo based Filmmaker. He is soon to start an MFA in film & television production from University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts by 2029, after his BA in Studio Art (Honors) from Kalamazoo College in 2026. His work has premiered in Rome, Italy with the American University of Rome, the New York Arts Program (NYC), and Kalamazoo Michigan at the Kalamazoo Film Society, Cinecase, and Kazoo 48 Film Festival. His writings have been published with the Michigan Magic Writers as well as the Cauldron and Index at Kalamazoo College. He is an Ann M. Macgregor, Clarence L. Remysnce, Hearst Foundation, ARCUS Center for Social Justice Leadership, Kathryn L. Hodgmin, and Kalamazoo Promise scholar.
