Acting
Luke Van Os is an actor born and raised in Melbourne, Australia. He plays the series regular role of Xander Delaney on Australia's #1 drama, Home and Away, following in the footsteps of his older cousin Chris Hemsworth who played Kim Hyde on the hit show from 2004-2007. Luke has also starred in numerous short and independent films and his talents have been recognised by winning the Gold award for best actor at the independent short awards for his performance in 'Banana Split' which also won multiple awards including Best Short. Growing up Luke spent a lot of time outdoors, his family spending most holidays on their houseboat at Lake Eildon where he would learn all kinds of water sports. Luke also spent the first two years of his life travelling around Australia living in a Toyota Hilux with his parents, which could explain Luke's passion for the great outdoors. Luke's uncle, by marriage, was Rod Ansell, the bushman who inspired the film Crocodile Dundee.
