Odette Aldrich

I am a 22 year old transgender filmmaker living in Chicago making films in the hopes of telling potent relatable stories through the lens of those who aren't always provided the loudest voice. To me art and filmmaking shouldn't be and isn't limited by technical elements and having the greatest equipment; it's about storytelling and heart. Through art I intend to raise awareness, inspire empathy, create change, and provide comfort to someone who might need it. Art and Film have provided me immense comfort through distress and my hopes are maybe to be able to provide that to someone else one day.
